Shwe Than Lwin Group

Vision & Mission

STL Group’s approach to human capital is guided by its aim to be one of the most performance driven organisations in the country while uplifting both people and society. The Group maintains a culture that is collaborative, inclusive and responsive to change. The Human Resources function plays a central role in supporting this culture and ensuring that employees at every level feel empowered to perform and grow.

The organisation’s workforce consists of approximately one thousand to five thousand employees across multiple business units. Career development is supported through structured training programmes that evolve to meet organisational needs. In 2024, the focus of training was on technical readiness in key areas such as transmission and Direct to Home services. By 2025, the strategy shifted towards developing a unified high performance culture through training in HR policy, communication, performance management and objective setting.
Employee welfare is supported through an extensive benefits framework that covers all major areas of personal and professional life. Staff members receive a wide range of leave entitlements, including maternity and paternity leave, medical leave, compassionate leave and dedicated study leave. Engagement and wellbeing are enhanced through activities such as company wide celebrations, sports activities, yoga and Zumba sessions and participation in CSR initiatives. These programmes help cultivate a healthy, motivated and cohesive workforce.
