SHWE Bank
SHWE Bank, established under the Financial Institutions Law 1990, received its licence from the Central Bank of Myanmar in 2014 and began operations in 2016. It has grown into one of Myanmar’s more rapidly developing private banks, expanding its branch and agent hub network to improve financial inclusion across both rural and urban communities. The bank continues to strengthen its capabilities through regulatory approvals, international partnerships and an increasing capital base.
